Wedding Anniversary

Today I am a very blessed man. My wife Martha and I are celebrating our nineteenth wedding anniversary. In today’s day and age this is no small accomplishment. I have read that somewhere about fifty per cent of marriages don’t go the distance. I can’t take any credit for my marriage lasting nineteen years. I am not any great shakes at being a husband but I am loyal. I know that if you have one person in the world who will always be there in your corner to back you up you are indeed very fortunate. In the hard, cruel and fickle world that we live in with all of its disappointments, setbacks, betrayals and other assorted varieties of pain it is very reassuring to have someone stay with you no matter what happens. I thank God that my wife is still there with me after all that has happened in the last nineteen years.
