Roswell 1947 Act Seven Scene One          page twenty-four

Narrator:  It is now time to bring back two characters from our last play, The Escaped Convict. The two characters that I'm talking about are Steve Wyler and Harry O’Finsky. As you may recall from our last play, Steve Wyler and Harry O’Finsky are in a wrestling match with Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake Roberts. There is a great commotion breaking out in the ring. Steve Wyler grabs Harry O’Finsky who is disguised as the Masked Mauler. The two convicts run backstage and enter an old storage room in the back of the arena.

Steve:  We’ll be safe in here for a little while Harry. I had to get you out of the ring before we both get arrested or killed. When I looked around the arena I saw the word as well as those two cons that we stole the smokes from last month.

Harry:  Man, it's dark and dusty in this old shed. Hey, Steve, what's that big wheel with all the fancy colours.

Steve:  I don't know. Let's check it out.

Harry: Wow, this thing is cool Harry.It looks like some kind of antique car. It has two seats, a lever and a dash that's all lit up. Let's get in it.

Narrator:  Steve and Harry climb into the seats. Harry can't resist pushing some buttons on the dash and pushing the lever forwards. In a few seconds, the vehicle starts to shake violently and all Harry and Steve can see is a swirling kaleidoscope of colors. In a few minutes the vehicle crashes in a farmer's field.

Steve:  What just happened? Where the heck are we?

Harry:  Hey, look what it says on the dash. It says location Roswell, New Mexico, year 1947.

Steve:   Harry, we just took a trip in a time machine. What luck! Who could've thought of a better escape?

Harry:  Ha! Ha! I bet the Warden and Sam and Charles are looking all around the arena for us right now.

Steve:  I can just see those two guys now. Sam and Charles will be running around all over the arena looking for us and the Warden and the guards will be chasing after Sam and Charles.
