Lake Monsters
I have noticed that my blog Incident at Loch Ness has been getting a significant amounts of hits. From this I gather that there is some interest in the topic of Lake Monsters somewhere out in the wild largely unexplored world of the blogosphere. I have been interested in this topic since I was a small child. My Granny got me interested with her stories about both the Loch Ness monster from Scotland and the Ogopogo from Lake Okanogan in Canada . When I got old enough to do my own research I read about Champ from Lake Champlain (interestingly enough, both Canada and the United States share this monster). My home province of Manitoba has also had reports of a Nessie like creature that is known as Manipogo.
Over the years I have read any book on the subject of cryptozology that I can get my hands on. I especially enjoyed the late Tim Dinsdale’s book, The Loch Ness Monster. Dinsdale was an engineer who spent many of his summers at Loch Ness searching for the monster.
