Is Paul Really Dead?

Two nights ago I watched a Netflix video called Is Paul Really Dead? This movie suffers from some serious problems. The first problem is that the audio is supposed to be taking from tapes made by the late George Harrison. The audio, in fact, does not sound like George Harrison. This blows the credibility of this video right off the bat. This movie calls for real suspension of disbelief. The story that is told on the audiotape is indeed interesting. Whoever wrote the script for this movie demonstrates some creativity.

Any true Beatle fan will remember the rumors of about Paul McCartney being dead. Clues are said to be found on Beatle album covers and in lyrics to their songs. There is also rumored to be backmasking applied to some of the songs. When these songs are played backwards there is supposedly hidden messages that give the impression that Paul is dead. There are apparently many clues to Paul's death on the Sgt. Pepper's album. The whole cover of this album is reported to be a scene from Paul's funeral. You will have to watch the video yourself to get the full details.

Although I found this movie to be very entertaining, it is impossible to take it seriously. There are just too many stretches of the imagination that are necessary. What this video has done for me however, is that it has gotten me to listen to old Beatles albums all over again. I have once again come to appreciate the artistry and creativity inherent in the Beatles music.
