Rod Blagojevich
Rod
Blagojevich
I was rather
surprised at the 14 year jail sentence handed down to Rod
Blagojevich. I understand that the judge intends to make an example
of politicians involved in corruption. It is unfortunate for Rod that
he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was not the first and
will not be the last politician to get involved in corrupt
activities. Should Rod to be punished ? Yes, but 15 years? I heard
Dennis Miller say that they are still voting on a law in Illinois
that will increase the sentence for child molesting to 10 years. What
is wrong with this picture? Is government corruption a more serious
offense than child molestation?
