The X Factor
The X
Factor
My wife and
I started to watch the first season of the X factor. My impression so
far is that it is a good show. There is plenty of room for both the X
factor and American Idol to survive. As good as last season's
American Idol was, I did miss Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. My two
favorites are now back on the X factor. Some of the talent shown so
far has been very good. My only complaint is that they insist upon
showing people who have no business auditioning for the show. This
smacks of cruelty to me. Some of the people that audition for the
show are so bad that I find it hard to believe that they do not
realize this themselves. My only explanation for this is that they
must have some kind of mental disorder. I'm sure some the must have
friends and family who would be kind enough to tell that they would
be making a total fool of themselves by going on these shows.
However, these people still keep appearing on shows like American
Idol and X factor. I know that having these people on the show
entertains a certain sector of the audience. However, I do not feel
that it is right to laugh at people don't realize how bad they are
themselves.
