Nirvana, The Oakland Raiders, Emotions and Media Monkey
Nevermind
Super Deluxe Edition
This morning
I got up feeling kind of blah. I was lying in bed trying to think of
something that might cheer me up today. I was already thinking that I
wouldn't be able to watch Oakland Raiders on TV today. I don't have
any TV channels that was picking up their game today. What made
matters worse was was that last night I learned that Al Davis had
passed away. When I looked out my window I saw that it was cloudy. I
hate cloudy and rainy weather. I always find that my mind goes into a
negative spiral when I see a cloudy sky and rain. I tried watching
the Seattle Seahawks New York Giants football game. Unfortunately, I
found that this game failed to capture my interest. What do I do now
I say to myself? Last night I was feeling a little down in the dumps
already but I managed to download the Media Monkey audio player. I
already have plenty of audio players on my system. However, I'm
always looking for something new. After downloading Media Monkey, I
was pleasantly surprised with its features. Next I downloaded my
media library to Media Monkey. One of the first things that popped up
was the new Nirvana Nevermind Super Deluxe Box Set. I own just about
everything ever recorded by an Nirvana but I am always looking for
something new. Their new deluxe box set is very impressive. For many
years now I have said that Nirvana is the last great rock band. There
has never been abandoned it captured teenage angst as well as an
Nirvana did. I should not even limited it to teenage angst. Nirvana's
music will do fine for just about any kind of angst. Even old people
have angst. It's funny how listening to Nirvana's music somehow
cheers me up. I am really enjoying listening to the alternate takes
and live versions of Nirvana's music.
