Turning Sixty
Today
I turned sixty. I would like to thank all my facebook friends who
posted on my wall. We actually celebrated my birthday yesterday. My
wife, my two sons and their partners and our granddaughter went to
Pizza Hut for dinner. We all had a great time.
Ever
since I turned fifty I have thought that I should try to make the
most of the time that I have left. I try to enjoy each day but
sometimes this is difficult.
I
have found that I have slowed down my daily routine lately and I'm
not too happy about this. I am hoping that in this my sixtieth year I
shall regain more of my lost energy. I have been back doing
substitute teaching since January and have really been enjoying it. I
have also started to put more work into my writing. I have just
released a bootleg copy of my 2012 version of my Roswell play. The
whole play is now available on Blogger.com and Google Reader. I also
plan to release it on Wordpress.com, Typepad.com and perhaps on a
torrent site. I was very happy to see that my play was getting a
significant number of views since it has just been released.
I
also took my dogs to the dog park today. They had a great time and
were happy to return to the dog park after a bit of an absence. I am
hoping to take my dogs out a lot during spring and summer of this
year.
Once
again I would like to thank all of you for wishing me a happy
birthday.
