A Day in the Life of Ken David Stewart June 28, 2011
Some days I feel good and other days not so much. Today was one of the better kinds of days. I enjoy being retired even if only temporarily. I prefer to not have my days mapped out by someone else. I like to do whatever I feel like at the time. Who doesn't? Today I started my day with a chocolate bar and a coffee. They both contain caffeine and help me achieve a conscious state. My personal trainer would not be happy about the chocolate bar, It is definitely not a step in the right direction if I;m serious about losing some of my girth. anyway, my need for instant self gratification got the best of me and I ate the chocolate bar.
The next thing on my personal agenda was to ride my Giant mountain bike to the library. I love books and had a couple of holds to pick up. For some strange reason I had reserved hold at two different branches of The Winnipeg Public Library. This resulted in two bike rides to two different libraries. My personal trainer would be happy about this but i don't know if the extra exercise was sufficient to burn off my high caloric intake from the chocolate bar. Although the bike rides were probably good for me my aching knee was telling me a different story.
When I returned home I decided to head for the couch to recuperate. This also provided me to multitask by watching the Casey Anthony Trial at the same time. This trial is so fascinating that it's hard to pull yourself away from it.
